The Manufacturing Process

Our louvres are fabricated from grade 6063-T6 aluminium extrusions from European mills to ensure a high quality product.

Customer order details are checked and processed and  where necessary, drawings produced using Autocad.  Job sheets are issued to our production manager and include a number of separate checks before the goods can be dispatched.  Powder coating is carried out by specialist companies to ensure the highest standards of finish.

Delivery is made throughout the UK.

Our unique louvre systems are manufactured in our own factory, allowing full control of the manufacturing process and rapid delivery of orders.

Our modern factory, which is fully owned by Bridge Louvre, is well equipped with manufacturing equipment and has recently had a full LED lighting upgrade.  We also occupy a number of adjacent industrial units allowing us to expand our production and storage capacities at short notice.  In 2022 we extended along the full length of the rear of our factory and invested in two new Elumatec machines, a high capacity CNC saw and  one of the first of a new machining centre to be delivered to the UK.

Our in-house manufacturing capabilities include 3no. twin-head computer controlled aluminium extrusion saws with capacity upto 6 metres, plus additional extrusion saws. and automated CNC aluminium profiling centre. This ensures we can process a significant amount of aluminium extrusion every day.

Additional fabrication machinery includes MIG and TIG welding stations, guillotine,  HD bandsaw. Over 30,000kg of aluminium extrusion is available from stock at any one time.



We are proud to have a very low staff turnover.  Our production staff are an essential part of our business and the majority have spent most of their working lives with Bridge Louvre.

This level of experience ensures that where a customer has a job which requires a non-standard solution, our staff have the knowledge and ability to be able to assist.
