We were called in to replace rotten timber louvres and windows to a basement area of a listed building in Liverpool. Once the customer had removed the old units, we measured the openings and manufactured a number of arched head louvres using our BL50 series louvre system. A number of the openings also incorporated single fully louvred doors.
Recently completed using or BL75 series site assemble louvre system, powder coated in a metallic bronze colour as an alternative to an anodised finish.
Total length is approximately 37 metres
The louvre includes insulated blanking panels to the rear of some sections, and a 300mm deep acoustic louvre to provide noise attenuation to a plant area.
Following fire damage to a rooftop plantroom at the Dukes 92 canalside pub in Manchester, the existing louvre system needed replacing due to the heat from the fire melting the plastic clips used to hold the louvre blades in position(see below). Bridge Louvre manufactured and installed an all aluminium replacement using the BL75 Series extruded aluminium louvres.
The replacement system includes a single door and cut-out on site around a new flue.
An existing rotting high maintenance painted timber plant screen, to 4 sides, replaced by BL75 Series extruded aluminium louvre and door. Support steelwork also supplied by Bridge Louvre.
A product that doesn’t currently feature on our website, the BL-AP67 adjustable louvre system incorporated into a double door.
This particular one was unpainted aluminium (‘mill finish’ aluminium), usually you would expect a powder coated finish to cover any surface blemishes from manufacturing.
